Before joining the Foundation, Vasilis worked as a superintendent community pharmacist for seven years. He conducted pharmacy-based practice research focused on medicines optimisation for chronic and acute conditions, grounded in evidence-based principles. Additionally, during his studies, he conducted a pharmacoepidemiologic study on type 2 diabetes using real-world patient data from databases.
Vasilis holds a Master's degree in Pharmacy from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice from Queen's University of Belfast.
