Vanessia Owusu-Ansah is the LMIC Engagement Coordinator at the Access to Medicine Foundation. In this role, she coordinates strategic initiatives and facilitates the dissemination of the Foundation’s research findings, ensuring that stakeholders in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) have the insights needed to maximise the impact of the Foundation’s work in these regions.
Vanessia began her career in the digital healthcare industry as a Market Access Associate at easee, an online eye testing company. While at easee, she developed toolkits to assist the team’s engagement in implementing the technology in the clinical pathway for cataract treatment. Before joining the Foundation, Vanessia worked at Zipline, an aerial logistics company focused on improving access to healthcare products and services at the last mile. She served as the lead solutions partner to expand the breadth and depth of Zipline solutions across Africa.
Vanessia holds a master’s degree in Health Economics from Erasmus University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana.
