Dr Swati Jha serves as a General Researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation, where her role encompasses providing research insights and analyses across various programmes. This includes delving into countries' healthcare landscapes, assessing disease burdens, and crafting technical briefs. She also contributes to other parts of the organisation with research capacity.
Swati is a healthcare professional with seven years of experience in the medical field. Prior to joining the Foundation, she has worked as a medical doctor in various psychiatric settings ranging from intensive in-patient wards, and outpatient clinics, to rehabilitation centres in India.
Swati holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (regd. Medical Council of India) and a Master of Science in International Health (cum laude) from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and KIT Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam, Netherlands.Â
