Sagal Hassan
Sagal Hassan is a Researcher for the Access to Medicine Index. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as a drug quality assessor at the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board (MEB-CBG), where she led end-to-end evaluations into proposals for new medications and analysed and disseminated data regarding the use of medicines. Sagal holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Utrecht University. She completed her master's thesis at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, where she researched the nature of the relationship between rhinovirus infections and the generation of respiratory symptoms. Â
