Nina Chamlou serves as Communications Officer at the Access to Medicine Foundation, helping forward the organisation’s mission to make global health equity a reality. In her role on the Communications team, she engages with media to share the Foundation’s research, ensures the website reflects the most recent developments and assists in the production of the Health Equity Podcast.
Nina has seven years of experience working in journalism and content creation. She began her career working as writer for a Seattle-based business magazine in 2018 before working as a freelance to cover healthcare topics related to policy, healthcare worker issues, physical and mental health and healthcare equity issues. She joined the Foundation as a writer/editor in 2024 and transitioned into the role of Communications Officer in 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Operations & Technology Management from the University of Portland.
