Elise Brunsvold is a Writer and Editor for the Access to Medicine Foundation. Her role includes shaping various forms of content, such as news announcements and social media updates, contributing to the Foundation's overall communication efforts. Collaborating closely with the research team, Elise plays a key role in guiding them to craft engaging narratives from their data and findings for research reports. This involves tasks like copywriting and editing to ensure a polished and clear conveyance of insights.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Elise served as an academic researcher, writer, and editor for a leading textbook company in Seoul, South Korea. Her professional background includes roles in journalism, travel writing, and copywriting. Additionally, she has held teaching positions, instructing English as a second language in countries such as Thailand and South Korea.
Elise holds a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing from Texas A&M University, along with a Master's degree in English literature from Lancaster University in the U.K.
