Don van der Valk is the Financial Controller at the Access to Medicine Foundation. He carries out all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, preparing budgets and forecasts and developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.
Don has worked in Finance for more than 30 years, as team leader and assistant controller in various financial institutions. He has also served as a partner in a small administration office.
Through these various positions Don has gained broad experience in financial reporting, budgeting and improving procedures and processes within organisations.
