Clinton has played a central role in interventions that have delivered sustained improvements to government-run supply chains in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), through the development and deployment of innovative tools and approaches. He has also conducted multiple private sector landscape assessments in health across several African countries. These covered logistics and supply chain providers, health product wholesalers and distributors, manufacturers and retail pharmacy networks, exploring the expanded role of the private sector within LMIC health systems.
In addition, he has led multiple projects evaluating the capacity and capabilities of private sector actors – including logistics service providers, warehouse operators and health product distributors – to support public health supply chains.
