Claudia Duarte
Claudia Duarte is a Researcher for the Access to Medicine Foundation’s Generic & Biosimilar Medicines Programme. Claudia's research focus is on how manufacturers can improve the availability and affordability of essential medicines in low- and middle- income countries.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Claudia completed an internship at Philips within their Access to Care team.
Claudia holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Health Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her studies, Claudia conducted research on a variety of topics related to health inequities, including her Master Thesis in which she investigated how individuals' health outcomes change after relocating to neighbourhoods with higher levels of income inequality using US census data.
