Before joining the Foundation, Christine worked as a consultant at Rebel, contributing to projects at the intersection of sustainability, economics and finance, including investment concepts for international development institutions and climate adaptation strategies across Europe and West Africa. She also gained experience in development cooperation with GIZ and in the German healthcare sector, building strong skills in stakeholder engagement and policy analysis.
Christine holds a Master’s degree in International Economics with a specialisation in Development Economics and Global Health from the University of Göttingen. Her thesis explored how rurality affects health insurance and healthcare accessibility in Kenya. She is passionate about leveraging finance and cross-sector collaboration to advance health equity and expand access to essential medicines globally.
