Previously, Aishwarya spent two years as a researcher with the Institute of Public Health Bengaluru working in tobacco control. Her research centred on exploring the intersection of the tobacco industry's operations and public health in South Asia and India. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as a research consultant at Health Action International in Amsterdam, focusing on informal medicine markets and access to specific medicines.
Before transitioning to a full-time researcher, Aishwarya trained as a dentist in India and earned her master's degree in Public Health Dentistry at the M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.
