New study finds wide variety in pharma companies’ cancer access programmes

Today, the Access to Medicine Foundation publishes the first analysis of pharmaceutical company actions to improve cancer care in the developing world. It finds that market leaders in oncology are addressing cancer care for the poor, with 129 separate initiatives up and running. Efforts are spread across cancer types and countries. Female cancers gain most attention.
