About the Access to Medicine Foundation
The Access to Medicine Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam. Our mission is to stimulate and guide healthcare companies to do more for people worldwide who cannot access the medicine they need.
The core pillar of our work is analysing and comparing how healthcare companies address the availability, affordability and accessibility of their products in low- and middle-income countries. We benchmark companies against each other, and identify best practices and progress gaps. To turn our research into real-world change, we engage with leading organisations, including companies, governments, investors and NGOs.
The Foundation has a growing global network of over 200 institutional investors, with USD 22 trillion in AUM, who use our reports and resources to aide direct engagements and investment-decision making activities when it comes to access to medicine and antimicrobial resistance. The Foundation supports investors to use our findings and analysis to better manage associated risks and opportunities for healthcare companies, and to drive positive change across the healthcare sector.
What this role looks like
Your main tasks will be to work with the Investor Engagement Manager and Investor Engagement Lead to successfully deliver ATM Foundation’s projects and objectives. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Encouraging investors to utilise the Foundation’s findings by drafting, organising and supporting  delivery of tailored content based on in-house research. This will include identifying new target investors and responding to requests from signatories and non-signatories.
Supporting internal reporting by preparing the content and data for various reports.
Change-making: You will support, operationalise and implement collaborative investor initiatives on access to medicine, across our programmes and will be able to engage with investors on this topic to help achieve our goals.Â

Analysing relevant news and events related to institutional investors and conducting research on investors’ best practices on ESG integration and active ownership.
Cross-functional working: You will work with the Foundation’s other teams (Research, Company Engagement, Government Engagement and Policy and Communications) to optimise engagement with investors and to contribute to other teams’ strategies based on learnings.
Contributing to the Investor Engagement teams’ website and social media content which from time to time will include supporting investors in their external awareness raising efforts.
When needed: supporting those speaking and/or representing the Foundation at industry events, seminars and conferences; translating research and insights for wider audiences and/or enabling investors to speak on our behalf at events as required. This may include representing the Foundation at events where appropriate.
