Josefien Knoeff to speak at Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance conference in London
On 17 September, Josefien Knoeff, Researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation, will join at the Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance conference in London. The event, hosted by the Royal Society of Chemistry, will bring together experts from governments, regulatory bodies and academic institutions to discuss the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and potential solutions.
Josefien will present the key findings of the first-ever AMR Benchmark, which shows how large research-based pharmaceutucal companies, generic medicine manufacturers and biopharmaceutical firms are addressing AMR and where further action is needed. Currently, the Access to Medicine Foundation research team is working on the metrics for the next AMR Benchmark that will be published in 2020.
