Engagement Lead LMIC

Mary Moehlmann

Dr Mary Wambui Moehlmann is the Access to Medicine Foundation's Community Engagement Lead. She directs the foundation's engagement initiatives with stakeholders from low- and middle-income countries, such as governments, private sector, NGOs and CSOs. 

Mary has previously worked as a medical doctor with the Ministry of Health in Kenya and in humanitarian settings with the International Rescue Committee in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as a travel medicine doctor at the University Medical Clinic Hamburg Eppendorf's Travel Consultation Clinic, located at the Bernhard Nocht Institute of Tropical Medicine in Hamburg, Germany. 

She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Kharkiv National Medical University and a Master of Science in International Health from the University of Copenhagen.
