Nearly 80% of the world’s population lives in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), yet essential medicines, such as vaccines, antibiotics and reproductive health products, remain out of reach for millions. With global health threats at our doorstep, including the rise of drug-resistant infections, the threat of future pandemics and increasing rates of heart disease and cancer, bridging global access gaps is more urgent than ever. 

The Access to Medicine Foundation was created with a clear purpose to make global healthcare inequity a thing of the past. Over the past two decades, we have grown into a powerhouse for change, bringing rigorous evidence-based research and strategic engagement to some of the most urgent challenges of healthcare access and affordability.
