About ISPAD 2024
The focus of this year’s conference will be on cutting-edge topics such as novel basic research, translational approaches, precision medicine, and the advent of artificial intelligence in diabetes care. The industry is transitioning from hormone substitution to disease modification through immune modulation, beta cell replacement, and advanced automated insulin delivery systems. However, the conference will highlight the ongoing disparities in access to insulin and technologies, as well as the discrimination and diverse challenges faced by people living with diabetes worldwide.
