Claudia Martínez to speak on Health System Strengthening at Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation in Healthcare

Claudia Martínez, Research Programme Manager at the Access to Medicine Foundation, will share the Foundation’s insights with students and healthcare professionals enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Program in Healthcare Innovation at a session hosted by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation in Healthcare.

The Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation in Healthcare (I3h) is hosting a session in which Claudia will present on “Health System Strengthening to Improve Access to Medicines”, introducing course participants to the challenges and opportunities in working via the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals aimed at reaching universal health coverage (UHC).

Her presentation will focus on how to mobilise the pharmaceutical sector on access to medicine to help drive progress towards UHC.

Claudia will join experts from academia, public health organisations, private companies and patient representatives, who will be leading various interactive sessions as part of the course. This is the 8th edition of the of the I3h Interdisciplinary Program in Healthcare Innovation, which aims to “prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals to be able to face new challenges of precision patient-centric practice”.
