Disease Prevention and Control Summit: Margo Warren to share insights on responsible manufacturing

Margo Warren, Director of Policy at the Access to Medicine Foundation, will take the stage at the Disease Prevention and Control Summit, part of the World AMR Congress, and present on the Foundation’s efforts to improve access to essential health products.

The Disease Prevention and Control Summit, which runs parallel to the AMR Congress, convenes global leaders within the infectious disease community to meet, brainstorm, and implement initiatives aimed at combatting infectious diseases and addressing pandemic preparedness.  

On 8 September, from 2:10 to 2:30pm, Margo Warren, in her capacity as Director of Policy, will present "Improving Global Access to Essential Health Products: Findings from the Access to Medicine Foundation". Drawing extensively from the Foundation's diverse programmes, she will delve into insights on expanding the reach of essential medicines in low- and middle-income countries, as highlighted in the 2022 Access to Medicine Index. The presentation will also encompass the Foundation's proven changemaking model, emphasising its impact on the Foundation’s mission.
