Avanti Gupta to speak at Nordic Sustainable Investment Forum Conference 2025

Avanti Gupta, Investor Engagement Manager at the Access to Medicine Foundation, will speak at the Nordic Sustainable Investment Forum (NordicSIF) Conference 2025 on healthcare investment and engagement. She will introduce the Nordic investor community to the Foundation’s work and demonstrate how they can leverage its resources to engage more effectively with pharmaceutical companies.

Date

03 June 2025

Location

Stockholm, Sweden

The NordicSIF Conference is an annual event that brings together members of the Nordic Sustainable Investment Forums (SIFs) from across the Nordic countries. Participants include capital owners, asset managers, and associated members such as researchers, organisations, law firms, and data providers. The conference serves as a key platform for Nordic investors to exchange ideas and collaborate on addressing challenges in responsible and sustainable investing. This year, the conference will focus on the theme “Future of Humanity”, featuring a specialised stream on health.

Representing the Foundation, Avanti will participate in the panel discussion at the event. She will provide an overview of the Foundation’s research programmes, highlighting how its findings contribute to addressing the ongoing challenges of the availability and affordability of equitable healthcare. Specifically, she will share insights on the 2024 Access to Medicine Index as well as the upcoming report on diabetes care for children and young people in low- and middle-income countries. This study, set to be published in May, provides a comprehensive analysis of how companies are addressing access gaps for children and young people living with type 1 diabetes in low- and middle-income countries.

Avanti will participate in various sessions at the conference, focusing on the topics of improving access to medicine and addressing broader health challenges. She will engage with investors, offering actionable insights on mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities to foster long-term, sustainable impact.
