Nikoletta Georgiou is a Researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation. Her research focuses on pharmaceutical companies' access and pricing strategies in upper-middle-, lower-middle- and low-income countries. She supports data collection, analysis and interpretation across the Foundation's research programmes.
Nikoletta holds a BSc in Psychology with a major in Communications, as well as an MRes in Social Psychology. Her academic interests focus on the intersection of the social and clinical aspects of health and well-being, particularly mental health, with a focus on underserved and underrepresented communities.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Nikoletta worked for five years in a range of research and project management roles. Her experience includes working as a researcher and project manager at a consulting firm in Athens, as a researcher in Behaviour and Global Health at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and on community-based European projects.
