Margarida Neves is a Researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation, working in the Research & Development team on the 2026 Access to Medicine Index. Her work focuses on analysing access plans and pipelines across multiple research programmes.
Margarida holds a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Lisbon and is completing a master's degree in Health Sciences Research at Erasmus Medical Centre Rotterdam, specialising in health decision sciences and health technology assessment. As part of this programme, she conducted research on mental health system reforms at the Dutch Institute of Mental Health and Addiction (Trimbos Institute).
Before joining the Foundation, Margarida held roles in regulatory and medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, where she gained experience in regulatory strategy, product lifecycle management, and the review of scientific and medical communications.
