Ana Birliga Sutherland is a Writer and Editor for the Access to Medicine Foundation. Collaborating closely with the research team, Ana helps shape content and craft engaging narratives, translating data into impactful written work. Her tasks also include copywriting for shorter form content and proofreading.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Ana worked as a writer and editor for an Amsterdam-based impact organisation working to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. She also works as a freelance writer, bringing her circular economy expertise to a recurring bimonthly column, Ouroboros, for the print magazine Renewable Matter. Ana holds a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and sciences from University College Utrecht, and a Master of Science in environmental management from the University of Edinburgh.
