Abbi is the Lead, CEO Office at the Access to Medicine Foundation, serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Jayasree K. Iyer, Chief Executive Officer. She manages the CEO Office's core priorities and key deliverables, and directs cross-functional initiatives and CEO-sponsored projects to advance the CEO's strategic agenda. Abbi also translates complex insights into actionable recommendations while overseeing the operational coordination of the CEO's high-level external engagements and stakeholder relationships.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Abbi was a PhD doctoral researcher at Swansea University. With technical expertise in exercise physiology and metabolic disease, she worked on devising preventative treatments for cardiometabolic disease through lifestyle modifications in post-menopausal women.
Abbi holds a PhD in Sports and Exercise Science from Swansea University, a Master of Research in Clinical Research (Diabetes and Obesity) from Imperial College London, and a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Manchester.
