Globally recognised healthcare supply chain expert joins Supervisory Board

Prashant Yadav has been actively engaged with the Foundation for several years, serving as a member of the Expert Review Committee for the Access to Medicine Index in 2024, 2022 and 2018. In addition, he was a member of the 2022 Expert Review Committee for the Generic & Biosimilar Medicines Programme. His extensive experience with the Foundation demonstrates his deep understanding of its mission and his commitment to advancing health equity on a global scale.

Currently an Affiliate Professor of Technology and Operations at INSEAD, Prashant’s expertise in healthcare supply chains is widely recognised. His work has been featured in prominent print and broadcast media including The Economist, The Financial Times, Nature and the BBC, and his research has earned best paper awards from organisations including the Production and Operations Management Society, INFORMS, and other leading scientific bodies. Prashant has provided expert testimony on medicine supply chains to the US Congress and other legislative bodies worldwide and serves on the advisory boards of various global organisations and social enterprises.
In his previous roles, Prashant has served as Strategy Leader for Supply Chain at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Professor of Supply Chain Management at the MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program; Research Affiliate at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics; Vice President of Healthcare at the William Davidson Institute, and Faculty at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
