The Foundation convenes company workshop on 2018 Access to Medicine Index data collection in Amsterdam

On October 31, the Foundation will bring together pharmaceutical companies measured in the 2018 Access to Medicine Index for a workshop on methodology and data collection process. The goal of the event is to help companies understand the analysis scopes, methodology, data collection and key milestones in the preparation for the 2018 Access to Medicine Index that will be published in November 2018. The workshop will be moderated by the Foundation’s Executive Director, Jayasree K. Iyer.

Date

31 October 2017

Each Access to Medicine Index is the product of a two-year process known as the ‘Index cycle’, which begins with a review of the Index methodology that is now underway. The Index team reviews the Index methodology drawing on feedback from independent experts and stakeholders active in access to medicine. The aim is to align the methodology with changes in access-to-medicine priorities and expectations as to how pharmaceutical companies can make their products available, accessible and affordable to people living in developing countries. The methodology report for the 2018 Access to Medicine Index was published at the beginning of October 2017.
