Sjors van Gijzel to guest lecture for University of Helsinki’s Global Health Challenge course

Access to Medicine Foundation researcher, Sjors van Gijzel, has been invited to share the Foundation’s work with students enrolled in pharmaceutical degrees and research programmes at the University of Helsinki.

The Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Helsinki will, together with colleagues from three European universities, organise a hybrid ‘Global Health Challenge’ course, focusing on innovations and entrepreneurship within the pharmaceutical sector.

Sjors has been asked to serve as a guest lecturer for the course, during which he will give a presentation on the Foundation’s work on mobilising pharmaceutical companies in expanding access to medicine in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

He will provide an overview of the Foundation’s research programmes, sharing key insights on how we use our research findings and insights to stimulate sustainable change in solving for global health equity.
