Pharmaceutical companies gather for Foundation workshop on access to cancer care
In a dedicated workshop on 29 June, 2017, the Foundation is bringing together pharmaceutical companies to share practical steps for improving access to cancer care in low- and middle-income countries.

The workshop will be attended by oncology experts and access leaders from research-based pharmaceutical companies, who will share insight into the workings of their cancer access programmes. Together, they will explore how successful approaches can be transferred to new contexts, recognising that different situations need tailored solutions.
This is the first in a series of workshops that the Foundation is hosting for companies in the 2018 Access to Medicine Index. Each session focuses on a different aspect of access to medicine and will be moderated by the Foundation’s Executive Director, Jayasree K. Iyer.
