Pauline L'Hénaff joins keynote panel at Advanced Therapies Congress 2024

Access to Medicine Foundation’s Head of Industry Engagement, Pauline L'Hénaff, will speak on a panel at the Advanced Therapies Congress 2024. The Congress provides key players in the healthcare industry with an opportunity to discuss the current state and future of cell and gene therapy development.

Date

Location

London, the United Kingdom

DATE

20 March 2024

LOCATION

London, the United Kingdom

FORMAT

In-person

As the largest Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) event in Europe, the Advanced Therapies Congress brings together world leaders in ATMP development and features speakers from across the entire value chain of cell and gene therapy development. The 2024 edition will highlight a range of topics related to major therapeutic areas, including manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, pricing, and market access and progress.

Representing the Foundation, Pauline will attend the Congress to speak on the keynote panel, “Tackling the challenges of global adoption of cell and gene therapies”, which will focus on how to ensure therapies reach patients most in need. Drawing on the Foundation’s work – including the 2022 Access to Medicine Index – she will discuss navigating the economic difficulties associated with expanding access to therapeutic care. Specifically, Pauline will share insights on the need to improve availability of these treatments in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where people often face the highest burden of disease.

Other panellists will include experts from Novartis, Roche, Anthony Nolan, and the Telethon Foundation.

About the Congress

The Advanced Therapies Congress 2024 will take place over two days from 19 to 20 March 2024 and will include valuable insights from experts in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, researchers, clinicians, and academics. For more information, click here.
