FORMAT

In-person

In recognising the critical need for Africa to enhance its pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities, AUDA-NEPAD is developing its PMPA. As part of its ongoing efforts, AUDA-NEPAD is convening a stakeholder meeting to advance the implementation of the PMPA, which aims to foster local production of therapeutics and strengthen the continent's health systems.

Representing the Foundation, Mary will attend the meeting as a key stakeholder, providing insights to help create the PMPA’s governance framework. In contributing to the proceedings, Mary will share insights from the Foundation’s work on expanding access to medicine in LMICs to help shape the framework’s components.

During the meeting, Mary will also engage with other stakeholders within the working group as they work towards finalising a plan of action for the implementation of the PMPA.
