Margo’s guest lecture, titled "Beyond Borders: Access to Essential and Emerging Health Technologies in Low- and Middle-Income Countries" will focus on governments as key stakeholders in the access-to-medicine space.

Given Margo’s role as Director of Government Engagement & Policy at the Access to Medicine Foundation, and her previous work in the Ontario Ministry of Health, she will be able to share her experience engaging with governments and their specific role in global health.

Governments and policymakers have the power to set enabling conditions to facilitate access to medicine, with Margo providing in-depth insights into how the Foundation uses its research findings to help them identify key opportunities for collaboration and changemaking.
