LSX World Congress 2023: Karen Eryou joins panel to discuss improving access to medicine in underserved markets

Karen Eryou, Head of Industry Engagement at the Access to Medicine Foundation, has been invited to join an expert panel at the 2023 LSX World Congress, organised by LSX The Network for Life Science Executive Leaders. She will share insights with industry leaders on how the medical technology sector can improve access to medicine.

The LSX World Congress is an annual event that brings together global leaders and senior decision makers across biopharma, medical technology and health technology companies to share best practice in creating innovative medicines and improving patient outcomes.

As part of this year’s Congress, Karen Eryou, Head of Industry Engagement at the Foundation, is a key speaker on a panel titled “Missing in Medtech – A spotlight on the underserved clinical markets”, which will focus on innovation in areas of unmet clinical need. Drawing on the Foundation’s work, including the 2022 Access to Medicine Index, Karen will engage with her fellow panelists on how to address access to healthcare in low- and middle-income countries.

The Foundation has expanded its model of change to cover more healthcare sectors, including diagnostics companies. In joining the panel of industry leaders in the medical technology sector, Karen will have the opportunity to discuss the role companies can play in further improving global access to healthcare.
