Foundation to attend the ESCMID Global 2025

Emily Gauruhn, Researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation, will attend the ESCMID Global 2025 Congress, where she will share insights on the Foundation’s work related to antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

The Congress of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID Global 2025) event brings together leading experts in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology to exchange ideas and explore the latest innovations. The event features five days of keynote lectures, oral sessions, workshops, symposia, and poster presentations. 

Representing the Access to Medicine Foundation, researcher Emily Gauruhn will speak at a session on April 14, 2025. Emily will share insights from the Foundation's latest research on AMR, including a publication on antimicrobial research and development. The report underscores the vital role of stewardship and access planning in ensuring innovative antibiotics and antifungals reach patients worldwide fighting drug-resistant infections. She will engage with fellow attendees and share insights on the pharmaceutical sector’s accountability in addressing AMR.
