The Congress of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID Global 2025) event brings together leading experts in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology to exchange ideas and explore the latest innovations. Representing the Access to Medicine Foundation, researcher Emily Gauruhn will speak at a session on April 14, 2025. The report underscores the vital role of stewardship and access planning in ensuring innovative antibiotics and antifungals reach patients worldwide fighting drug-resistant infections. She will engage with fellow attendees and share insights on the pharmaceutical sector’s accountability in addressing AMR.
