Dulce Calçada presents AMR Benchmark at HCWH Europe webinar

On 29 November, Dulce Calçada, Researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation, will join a webinar organised by Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) Europe.

Date

29 November 2018

In this webinar, titled 'Multisectoral approaches to tackle Antimicrobial Resistance' Dulce will present results from the Antimicrobial Resistance Benchmark with a focus on how pharmaceutical companies can strengthen wastewater management to prevent the development of AMR.

The organiser, HCWH, aims for the webinar to raise awareness about the drivers and scale of drug-resistant infections and highlight the gaps between political action and the burden of AMR. This is an opportunity for representatives from the healthcare sector, the pharmaceutical industry, policy-makers, academia, and NGOs to exchange their expertise and experiences.
