Danny Edwards joins a panel at ISNTD d³ meeting

On June 25, 2018, Danny Edwards, Research Programme Manager for the Access to Medicine Index, will speak at the ISNTD d³ meeting in London. The theme of the event, hosted by The International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ISNTD), is Drug discovery & development, diagnostics and vaccines for tropical diseases.

Danny will join a panel discussion titled “Redefining Access to Medicines” to present the work of the Access to Medicine Foundation over the past 10 years. He will focus on sustainable approaches developed by pharmaceutical companies to improve access to medicine in low- and middle-income countries. Danny will also share information about the methodology for the 2018 Access to Medicine Index, which pinpoints how and where pharmaceutical companies have the greatest potential to make medicine more accessible.  The 2018 Access to Medicine Index will be published in November 2018.
