Danny Edwards joins a panel at Global Symposium on Health Systems Research
On 12 October, 2018, Danny Edwards, Research Programme Manager for the Access to Medicine Index, will speak at the 5th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research in Liverpool. The event aims to bring together global health stakeholders involved in health systems and policy research and practice.

Danny will join a panel discussion titled “Public / private partnerships and private sector-led oncology access initiatives in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC): a sustainable way towards universal health coverage for medicines and health technology?” He will present the work of the Access to Medicine Foundation and its first landscape analysis on assessing pharmaceutical company approaches to improving access to cancer care in low- and middle-income countries.
