Claudia Martínez to represent the Foundation at IFC Global Private Health Conference

Claudia Martínez, Director of Research at the Access to Medicine Foundation, has been invited to speak at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Global Private Health Conference. The event will offer a platform to share the Foundation's insights on health equity, local production, pricing strategies, and building impactful partnerships in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Date

19 February 2025

Location

Bali, Indonesia

Held in Bali, Indonesia, the 10th edition of the IFC Global Private Health Conference aims to engage private health sector stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies and investors, in advancing innovative solutions to improve healthcare access, quality, and affordability, particularly in LMICs.

On the third day of the conference, Claudia will join the panel “Bolstering Global Health Equity while Achieving Economic Sustainability,” set to explore how impact considerations are central to investment strategies as investors and healthcare companies address their responsibilities in promoting global health equity. Representing the Foundation, Claudia will share insights on the recently launched 2024 Access to Medicine Index, along with case studies and strategies related to local production, affordability, and collaborations. She will also offer perspectives from the Foundation’s work with investors.
