Bowen Gu joins panel at RI Europe 2018

On Tuesday, 5 June, Bowen Gu, Investor Engagement Researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation, will speak at the RI Europe 2018 in London. The event aims to bring together global experts to discuss responsible investment.

Bowen will join a panel titled “Deconstructing clinical trials: the core of drug development and company valuations” chaired by Helena Vines Fiestas, Head of Sustainability Research, BNP Paribas Asset Management. She will speak on the Foundation’s work on the Access to Medicine Index and the importance of clinical trial to access to medicine, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Bowen will also talk about standards and ethical conduct of clinical trials, and the associated opportunities and risks faced by pharmaceutical companies analysed by the Access to Medicine Foundation.
