.

Margo and Anne-Charlotte took part in the webinar ‘Improving Access to Reproductive Health Commodities: The Role of the Private Sector’.

Watch the video

The webinar brings together the global community of reproductive health suppliers and manufacturers to discuss the importance of engaging the private sector in meeting the needs for reproductive health in low resource regions of the world. Leading practices in the supply of health commodities will be unpacked and viewpoints from various stakeholders will be outlined.

Founded in 2004, the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition is a global partnership of public, private and non-governmental organisations. It focuses on ensuring people in low- and middle-income countries have access to the products and services they need for their reproductive health.

The webinar will be followed by a Q&A.

Reaching women and girls in low- and middle-income countries

Margo and Anne-Charlotte will discuss findings from the 2022 Access to Medicine Index’s Special Report: Women’s Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). They will draw on key insights relating to SRHR commodities and offer recommendations on the ways the private sector can do more to ensure women and girls in low-and middle-income countries have access to the SRHR-related products they need.
