4th PPRI Conference: Medicines access challenge - The value of pricing and reimbursement policies

Hans Hogerzeil, Chair of the Access to Medicine Expert Review Committee for the Access to Medicine Index and Antimicrobial Resistance Benchmark will present the latest research from the Access to Medicine Foundation during the session ‘Fix the future?’ on 23 October at the 4th PPRI Conference in Vienna.

Date

23 October 2019

Hans will explore the pricing findings from the Foundations’ 10-year analysis of pharmaceutical companies' actions on access to medicine, specifically looking at equitable pricing strategies – where affordability is taken into account by pharmaceutical companies when determining prices for different population segments. Hans will also facilitate a stakeholder roundtable ‘Medicines access challenge – the value of pricing and reimbursement policies’.

The PPRI conference is organised by the WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies, and explores key issues in pricing and reimbursement policies of medicines – both from a global as well as European perspective.
