The Access to Medicine Index Investor Statement does not constitute, and should not be interpreted as, an agreement among signatories to acquire, hold, or dispose of securities, nor to coordinate the exercise of voting rights.
Any decision by signatories to take action with respect to acquiring, holding, disposing and/or voting of securities shall be at their sole discretion and made in their individual capacities and not on behalf of the Access to Medicine Foundation, its investor networks or their other signatories or members.
Signatories must avoid coordination of strategic behavior between competitors that impacts or is likely to impact competition. Each signatory retains the discretion to determine its own approach to engagement and is not bound by the actions or views of other signatories.

Similarly, neither the Access to Medicine Foundation nor its affiliated investor networks act or speak on behalf of one another or on behalf of any signatory to the Investor Statement.
Each investor is solely responsible for obtaining its own legal advice with respect to its participation in the roundtable/initiative/collaborative engagement and the implications of becoming a signatory to the Investor Statement.
Investors must ensure that all engagement activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements in the relevant jurisdictions.
