Jacqueline Kisakye is a Researcher at the Foundation, and part of the general research team. Jacqueline holds a Master of Science in Public Health from Lund University in Sweden, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from McGill University in Canada.
During her Masters studies, Jacqueline completed an internship at the World Health Organisation regional office for Europe in Copenhagen. For the internship, she conducted a literature review about existing frameworks to assess national health research systems, performed stakeholder mapping of key players in health research globally, an identified existing (health) research strategies in the WHO European Region. She also supported the development of the Health Evidence Network Author Guide. Jacqueline also has experience in community health education, and has developed, implemented and analysed programs for adults suffering from lifestyle diseases such as diabetes.
