Communications Officer

Steve Perkins

Steve Perkins works as Communications Officer, supporting the communications team across all tools and channels. He is responsible for coordinating communication campaigns, helping to build engagement with the work of the Foundation across a range of audiences, via print, broadcast and social media, and the web. He also coordinates the tools for events, speaking engagements and other external communications.

Steve has a broad communications background in different sectors. In the UK, he started his career with a large hospitality chain, establishing the communications function, before working in the public sector as a communications generalist for a government department. More recently, Steve has worked in non-profit organisations, including Artsen zonder Grenzen (Doctors without Borders). Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Sociology, from Goldsmiths University, London.
