Natalia Sánchez Villalobos

Natalia is a researcher for the Access to Medicine Foundation's new programmes. Her research focuses on the role of generic medicine manufacturers in improving access to medicine.

Natalia holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica and a Master’s degree in Global Health from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During her graduate studies, she was involved in research projects focused on improving access to universal healthcare and analysing determinants of health disparities in minority populations. She completed her thesis on the topic of well-being of gender-diverse people. Natalia previously worked in the clinical field, delivering care to a wide range of patients.
