Damiano de Felice
Damiano de Felice is responsible for the Foundation’s strategy setting and implementation activities, with a focus on enhancing the Foundation’s long-term impact on access to medicine and on securing its sustainability. In addition, Damiano leads the Foundation’s interactions with governments and investors and is responsible for fundraising. He is an expert in the relationship between the pharmaceutical industry, access to medicine and development, and is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Human Rights. Damiano regularly speaks about the outcomes of the Foundation’s research programmes, such as the Access to Medicine Index and Antimicrobial Resistance Benchmark.
During his career, Damiano has advised international organisations, companies, governments and NGOs, including the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights and the Italian Ministry for Economic Development. Damiano holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and Master’s degrees in Political Science from the University of Pisa and in International Relations from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies.
